Canoeing and Kayaking

NORTHERN WATERS YOUTH GROUP PROGRAMS
Northern Waters offers multi- tiered programs for Youth of all ages. At our base in Errol New Hampshire
set on the Androscoggin’s best class ll rapid, we have a variety of water trips available. From exciting
flat-water canoeing featuring a wilderness environment that is very accessible, class ll rafting and
individual inflatable “duckies” to individual training in whitewater Kayaks. We offer these programs
along with camping and transportation when needed and is included in the price.
Canoeing
Northern Waters offers trips from one to 4 days (non-Guided)
Cost $35.00/day/youth
Includes all canoeing
equipment, shuttles and camping at our 3 wilderness campsites.
Rafting
Class II rafting with progression to individual Inflatable Kayaks. One day program on the Errol Rapid
teaching fundamentals of white water (Guided)
With Lunch, Cost $45.00/youth/day
Kayaking
Kayak instruction 2,3,4 day programs taught on the Errol Rapid and the Pontook Rapid at least 3 days
recommended. Includes: all equipment, camping and shuttles. Most students become comfortable with all
basic aspects of kayaking on class II water in 3 days.
Cost:
1-6 students $90.00/person/day
6-10 students $85.00/person/day
Multi-Tiered Programs
Any of these programs can be combined into any combinatin of multiple day experience which works well
with large groups where the group can be split for a range of experiences. Northern Waters also offers a
5 day "Combo" Program for $400.00
Client Responsibility
Youth groups will be responsible for overnight supervision of their members and providing all necessary
camping gear, food and provisions.
DAY YOUTH CAMP RAFTING
For Children 8 (60 lbs minimum) and older a 4 hour day camp will be held using rafts and
rubber kayaks (Duckies) on the Errol Rapid Class II and III at our Errol base. This will be an
informative and educational whitewater introduction where principles of whitewater will be taught.

Company Trips and Outings
Think canoeing when planning a group outing or corporate meeting. We have the facilities
to handle groups of any size and can develop special packages depending on your group's needs.
We work with the Balsams Hotel and other hotels in Bethel.
Canoeing is a natural team building experience and we have found there is no better way to relieve
stress. We have put together special group packages and prices for company outings and conferences.
