Androscoggin Class II Rafting Float Trips
Northern Waters offers family oriented Class II rafting float trips on the
Androscoggin.
This is an easy fun level of rafting appropriate for younger ages from 7 years old (60 lbs.
min.).
The river is beautiful and many opportunities arise in the form of scenic beauty, wildlife and a
lot of excitement. These are day trips. A guide will be along on all trips and in the boats
with children under 13. Stronger groups may paddle their own rafts along with the guided rafts. Inflatable kayaks are often used on multiple runs.
ERROL RAPIDS
Weekday trip: the most popular trip is a half day excursion with multiple
runs scheduled on the Errol Rapid with a progression to Duckies (inflatable kayaks) for the more
adventurous. These are great experiences for families with children as young as 8.
1/2 day trip cost $49.00 per person.
